Espharm IV contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that provides strong and sustained suppression of gastric acid secretion.
Used for: gastro-oesophageal reflux disease with erosive oesophagitis, prevention of re-bleeding after therapeutic endoscopy for bleeding gastric or duodenal ulcers, and other acid-related conditions in patients unable to take oral medication.
Lyophilized powder for I.V. injection and infusion, supplied with 5ml 0.9% sodium chloride.
Use only as prescribed by a registered medical practitioner. Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
