Zolindra contains linezolid, an oxazolidinone antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis. It is active against Gram-positive bacteria, including MRSA and vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE).
Used for: pneumonia, complicated skin and soft-tissue infections, and other serious infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria.
